The service

Nutrition lets you connect a Garmin Connect account and authorize an MCP client (such as ChatGPT or Claude) to log nutrition and related diary data. Family and coach access requires an explicit grant on this website.

Your account

You must provide a valid email (directly or via Google/Facebook), keep credentials confidential, and be allowed to use the Garmin account you connect. You are responsible for MCP clients you authorize and for aliases you assign.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse Garmin or our APIs, probe other users’ destinations, grant access through an LLM chat, or use the service for medical diagnosis. Rate limits and Garmin’s own terms apply. We may suspend accounts that harm the service or other users.

Unofficial Garmin integration

Nutrition is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Garmin Ltd. Garmin Connect access currently uses unofficial session APIs. Garmin may change or block that access at any time. Official partner APIs may replace parts of this later.

No professional advice

Calories, macros, and similar figures are estimates. Nutrition is not medical, dietetic, or fitness advice. See the Disclaimer.

AI clients

Language models can mis-hear names or quantities. The server still enforces grants. You should review Garmin Connect after automated logs. Do not put grant/revoke actions in the model’s hands.

Intellectual property

Pack4Back and Nutrition marks, software, and copy remain ours. You keep rights to your content; you license us to process it as needed to run the service.

Termination

You may delete your account in Settings. We may stop the service or close accounts with notice where reasonable, or immediately for abuse or legal risk.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pack4Back is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost diary data, Garmin outages, or model errors. Our aggregate liability for the service is limited to the greater of fees you paid us for Nutrition in the prior three months (currently none) or €50.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Pack4Back’s establishment, without prejudice to consumer protections that cannot be waived. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
